Salary
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus an excellent benefits package.

Job Description

As a Site Engineer with VANRATH, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate reading and interpretation of construction drawings on site. This will involve providing clear communication of layouts, material measurements, and other essential information to ensure the smooth execution of projects.

You will also be expected to maintain accurate setting out, provide precise lines, levels, and reference points, and effectively influence project progress to meet programme deadlines. Additionally, you will develop strong relationships with clients and subcontractors, working closely with the team to ensure that quality, environmental, and health and safety aspects are adhered to during each project phase.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Construction Engineering and Management or equivalent, with at least 3 years' post-graduate experience in a similar role. Residential build experience is advantageous. You should be competent in the use of survey equipment, such as levels and total stations, and possess skills in AutoCAD. Numeracy and IT skills, including MS Office, Word, and Excel, are essential. A full, valid driving licence and relevant site cards are also required.
