Civil Engineering Project Manager

The Site Engineer will oversee the technical aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed safely and efficiently. They will collaborate closely with the Contracts Manager, Site Foremen, and subcontractors to coordinate works and maintain quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Site Management: Plan, supervise, and coordinate works across construction sites, ensuring compliance with project programmes and specifications.
- Manage direct labour and appointed subcontractors, monitoring performance against programme.
- Optimise usage of company resources including manpower, plant, and resources.
- Monitor progress and report daily activities in line with programme requirements.
- Measure works on site to support preparation of interim/final accounts.
- A Third Level Qualification in Engineering (civil/structural) or related discipline is required.
- A minimum of two years' experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering industry is necessary.
- Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and techniques, particularly groundworks.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD software and surveying equipment.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential.
- A valid Driving Licence is also required.
