Job Opportunity at Falkirk Council

We are seeking a talented individual to assist in the delivery of flood protection measures across the Falkirk area.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our Council of the Future, building on our reputation for efficiency and continuous improvement.

The postholder will assist in the management and maintenance of watercourses and associated infrastructure assets, helping to manage flood risk and reduce the impacts of flooding on our communities and environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, procurement, and implementation of flood protection studies and surface water management plans.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and clients throughout projects.
  • Hold an HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline, and be a member of a relevant institution.
  • Have knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and current health and safety regulations.
