Financial Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our Finance team at the Cambridge University Libraries (CUL). As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing financial strategies that align with the Libraries' and University's strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement financial strategies in line with the Libraries' and University's strategic priorities
- Provide high-level financial reporting and advice to support the planning, implementation, and management of CUL finances
- Work closely with the Head of Finance, Finance Lead, and stakeholders to ensure effective financial governance and management
- Collaborate with the Finance Team to develop and maintain financial processes and procedures
- Expertise in financial and accounting practice, with a strong understanding of financial governance and management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial information and present complex data to stakeholders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities
