Senior Nurse Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse Trainer to join our team at Fairlie Healthcare Group. As a Senior Nurse Trainer, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating clinical skills-based training, professional discussion, and competency-based assessment for clinical staff across all centres.
Main Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate clinical skills-based training, professional discussion, and competency-based assessment for clinical staff across all centres.
- Support and mentor Nurse Trainers to enable them to carry out their roles effectively and assume their role when absent.
- Take responsibility for staff upgrading across Centres as per the organisation's internal pathways, ensuring patient safety is maintained and all care delivered is accurately and appropriately documented.
- Supervise, mentor, and support Registered Nursing Staff, including annual appraisal to assist them in carrying out their roles effectively.
- Develop, review, and implement a range of cohesive clinical leadership, management, and organisational development programmes.
- Organise, oversee, and facilitate the Induction program for staff members new to the organisation and bespoke in-service training as required.
- Collate and prepare monthly reports for the Learning and Development Manager on deliverables set by the Executive Board.
- UK Registered Nurse with an active PIN.
- Level 3 aware in Education and Training (or equivalent), Ideally: Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent).
- At least 3 years leadership experience, and strong people management skills.
- Facilitating training sessions in a similar setting, both face to face and virtually.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and stakeholder management.
- Good IT skills, and proficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ideally: experience with Ventilator and Tracheostomy Care.
