Your Responsibilities:


As a Critical Care Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the ITU team and ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care. Your duties will include:



  • Assessing deteriorating patients for emergency admission to the ITU
  • Participating in clinical audit, governance, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Undertaking appraisals and job planning
  • Actively participating in continuing medical education
  • Undertaking personal appraisal and job planning as part of revalidation
