About the Role
- Commercial Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy to drive business growth and expansion.
- Business Development: Build and lead a high-performing business development team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Strategic Partnerships: Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to enhance our market position and drive business growth.
- Revenue Growth: Own and drive the revenue generation process to achieve business objectives.
- Team Leadership: Develop, lead, and mentor the commercial and business development teams to foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
Requirements
- Significant experience in a senior commercial or business development role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Proven success in driving significant revenue growth and scaling businesses.
- Strong understanding of NHS procurement and tendering processes.
- Experience in building and leading high-performing teams with a proven ability to inspire, mentor, and drive cultural alignment during growth.
- Good financial literacy and skilled in negotiating and structuring commercial agreements.
- Strong relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders, particularly within the NHS.
- Proven track record in building and maintaining long-term key client relationships.
- Degree in business, finance, or related field preferred, significant relevant experience is an acceptable alternative.
