About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Counter Fraud Data Scientist to join our team at Direct Line Group. As a key member of our Counter Fraud Department, you will play a critical role in driving the identification and delivery of fraud reduction opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement fraud referral strategies to identify new sources of fraud referrals.
  • Utilize advanced statistical techniques to optimize strategies and reduce fraud loss.
  • Support the design and implementation of reporting and analysis to ensure accurate tracking and review of fraud claims benefit initiatives.
  • Drive advancements in operations and contribute to increased Counter Fraud savings by supporting and developing claim cluster reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address fraud risks.
Requirements
  • Experience in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in Insurance or Fraud strategy development is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of data manipulation techniques and data modeling concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
