About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at RSK Group. As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading geotechnical projects from desk studies to ground investigation phases, and producing interpretive reports for projects in the UK and overseas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead geotechnical projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality deliverables
  • Design, supervise, and manage ground investigation and construction works
  • Develop earthworks designs, specifications, and supervise/verify construction
  • Conduct cliff and slope stability inspections and design remedial measures
  • Apply knowledge of Eurocode 7 and UK annex design codes, ground investigation, and construction contracts and specifications
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering, or Geology, or a related field
  • Working towards chartership with the Geological Society or ICE, or another relevant professional body
  • Demonstrable experience in geotechnical desk studies, ground investigations, and report writing
  • Experience in geotechnical analysis of foundations, slopes, earthworks, basements, and retaining structures
  • Full UK driving license
