Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of professionals who share a passion for making a difference in the lives of students with SEN.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will provide specialist support to students with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
  • You will work closely with teachers and other staff to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student.
  • You will contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social, emotional, and academic growth among students.
  • You will demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing student needs and circumstances.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an SEN or educational setting.
  • A degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a dynamic school environment.

Working Conditions

This role involves working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are ever the same.

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
