Vida Education is seeking a skilled and experienced Science Teacher to join our team in Penrith.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching up to GCSE Science in a supportive environment, Monday to Friday. They will also work as a cover member of staff in a highly supportive school with a positive atmosphere.

This is a long-term cover role, starting in January and lasting until the end of the academic year. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of KS3 and KS4 Science and be passionate about their subject.

  • Requirements:

  • A Science Teacher passionate about their subject, with excellent knowledge of KS3 and KS4

  • Have UK Right To Work Status
  • Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
  • Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour and always strive to get the best out of students
  • Complete a registration with Vida Education, including a current Enhanced DBS registered with the DBS Update Service, or be prepared to apply for a new Enhanced DBS

The estimated salary for this role is around £42,000 - £62,000 per annum, depending on experience.
