We are seeking a talented and motivated Mineral Planner to join our clients successful and dynamic team.

About the Role
  • Provide expert planning advice and guidance on mineral development projects.
  • Prepare and submit planning applications, including Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA).
  • Liaise with clients, local authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure projects meet legal and policy requirements.
  • Conduct site appraisals, feasibility studies, and environmental assessments.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement and public consultation processes.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in planning legislation, policies, and best practices.
Requirements
  • A degree in Planning, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional experience in mineral planning or a similar discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation and policies related to mineral development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
