Maintenance and Repair Technician

Job Description:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team at Talent Limited as a skilled Maintenance and Repair Technician. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our manufacturing plant, equipment, and facilities are maintained in good working order.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing production equipment, including CNC Machine tools.
- You will perform routine maintenance tasks, such as fitting new parts and carrying out quality/performance inspections.
- You will assist in the development of planned preventative maintenance schedules (PPM) and provide emergency/unscheduled repairs when needed.
- You will read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
About Our Ideal Candidate:
- We are looking for a skilled Maintenance and Repair Technician with a minimum of 3 years' experience working within either Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance.
- You should have proven experience in fault finding and repair of CNC Machine tools and be able to read equipment manuals and mechanical/electrical drawings.
- You should also have the ability to manufacture spare parts as required (Simple bracketry, gaskets etc) using lathes, milling machines, welding equipment (Desirable).
- Experience in working with Mazak, Heidenhain control systems (Desirable) and operating Forklift Truck and Elevated Working Platforms (Desirable) would be beneficial.
