Job Title: Bricklaying Lecturer

Salary: £27,425 - £40,369 per annum

Contract: Full time, permanent

Location: Huntingdon, Peterborough

Teaching Personnel is seeking a skilled Bricklaying Lecturer to join their Construction department at a leading FE College in Cambridgeshire. This exciting role will involve designing and delivering Bricklaying courses to a diverse range of learners in both practical and theoretical settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to a varied timetable, including evening, Saturday, and summer periods.
  • Provide inspirational teaching and access to learning across a range of programs, catering to learners of different ages and abilities.
  • Develop and maintain teaching materials, including handouts, assignments, booklists, assessment papers, and electronic resources.
  • Prepare Schemes of Work and Schemes of Assessment.
  • Undertake administrative tasks necessary for the effective operation of programs in the area.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of Level 3 within Bricklaying, which is essential.
  • Hold a Teaching Qualification, such as PGCE, Cert Ed, PTLLS, or equivalent.
  • Prior experience teaching Brickwork or Multi Skills up to Level 3, whether in education or on-site with apprentices.
  • Have a minimum C in both Maths and English.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
