As a Strategic Sourcing Manager at Sainsbury's, you will play a pivotal role in driving our commercial operations forward. You will lead complex cross-functional projects, analyzing the value chain of our own-brand products from farm to store to inform strategic sourcing decisions and identify opportunities for mutual benefit with our suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional projects to drive cost reductions, improve margin performance, and introduce exciting new propositions in our stores
  • Manage the branded supplier investment process to deliver cost of goods reduction and identify opportunities for growth
  • Collaborate with Buying, Supply Chain, Ranging, Category Planning, Finance, and Packaging teams to drive aligned decision-making and deliver business outcomes
  • Analyze data to generate valuable insights and drive informed decision-making

What You'll Need:

  • Proven experience in project and programme management, with a strong strategic mindset and commercial acumen
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility with colleagues and drive aligned decision-making
  • Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to programme manage multiple projects and hold stakeholders accountable
