About the Role:

We are seeking a Health and Safety Compliance Officer to join our team at OSJCT. As a key member of our Health and Safety Team, you will assist in driving forward the Trust's standards and culture by ensuring compliance in key areas including general health and safety policy and procedures, fire safety, risk assessment, and quality of training delivery in our care homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Health and Safety Team in ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct incident investigations and support health and safety related projects and matters as directed.
  • Work with Operations, Care Quality, and Training functions to drive forward the Trust's standards and culture.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH Certificate (QCF Level 3 equivalent) or equivalent.
  • Tech IOSH Membership minimum.
  • Previous experience in health and safety in the Care sector or similar.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ability to deliver training.
