We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diagnostic Imaging Nurse Specialist to join our team at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified nurse to cover maternity leave for 12 months in the Diagnostic Imaging Department.

About the Role
  • Provide high-quality patient-focused care within Diagnostic Imaging and Theatre settings.
  • Work closely with Consultant Radiologists to assist with interventional procedures for both inpatients and outpatients.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Band 5 Nurse in a hospital setting.
  • Background in a theatre or angio suite setting is highly advantageous.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing as a Scrub Nurse within the theatre setting.
  • Booking and monitoring patients during procedures.
  • Collaborating with Consultant Radiologists, Theatre teams, and the Interventional Lead Radiographer.
  • Providing nursing support across the Imaging Department, liaising with various section heads as needed.

Salary: £34,078 - £43,041 per annum (Band 5), depending on experience. This salary estimate is based on data from the UK's National Health Service (NHS) pay scales.

In addition to your annual salary, you will also receive:

  • Generous annual leave entitlement starting at 27 days and increasing to 29 days after five years of service and 33 days after 10 years of service, in addition to national Bank Holidays.
