Job Title: Diesel/Hydraulic Service Technician

Major Energy Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Diesel/Hydraulic Service Technician to join our client's team in Kintore, Inverurie. The ideal candidate will be local to the area and have a strong background in mechanical maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service and repair of truck-mounted and offshore containerised winches, diesel-driven power packs, compressors, and telescopic and folding wireline masts.
  • Support and improve assembly of products through specific techniques and innovative idea generation.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment is in good working order.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Identify and report any health and safety improvements and infringements, stopping any operations deemed unsafe.
Requirements:
  • Time-served apprenticeship in HGV/Plant Mechanics.
  • NC in a relevant subject or higher education in a relevant field.
  • Working knowledge within a service and repair environment.
  • Ability to operate basic hand and power tools.
  • Forklift and overhead crane certificates (desirable).
