Job Title: Clinical Lead Nurse for Care Planning and Risk Assessment

Henshaws Specialist College is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to lead our clinical team in developing quality health care plans and risk assessments for students with a range of clinical needs.

About the Role

This is a newly developed role with a large focus on quality and maintaining safe practice. As a Clinical Lead Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing quality health care plans and risk assessments for students
  • Leading the clinical team in providing high-quality care and support to students
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective care delivery
  • Providing clinical expertise and guidance to staff and students
  • Line managing the Nurse Associate and/or Nursing Assistants
Person Specification

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with:

  • A current NMC PIN Number
  • Evidence of a recognised teaching qualification and experience of mentoring, supervising and assessing nursing students
  • Experience of line managing staff or willingness to be trained in line management
  • Extensive clinical experience and knowledge of a range of clinical conditions and procedures
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
