Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Russell Taylor Group Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager in delivering and financially managing projects, ensuring that all activities align with our Commercial Strategy and meet operational, financial, commercial, legislative standards and targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Manager in delivering and financially managing projects
  • Provide commercial activities support to projects and tenders
  • Maintain open and adequate communication with the Project Manager, Project teams, and Business Manager
  • Support the bid process, identifying significant risks within enquiry documentation, terms and conditions, and similar
  • Manage contractual change control, including timely agreement with customers and subcontractors
  • Build positive relationships with subcontractors and ensure subcontracts are properly let
  • Participate in project validation, interrogating and reporting periodic reviews of forecast profit, turnover, and cash receipts, and active risk and opportunity management
