About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechatronics Systems Specialist to join our team at the Manufacturing Technology Centre in Coventry. As a Technical Leader, you will be responsible for leading project technical deliverables and providing mentorship to the wider team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Delivery: Lead project technical deliverables, ensuring they meet or exceed agreed customer requirements and are delivered within budgets and timescales.
  2. Team Support: Provide mentorship and coaching to the wider team in the area of expertise.
  3. Innovation Management: Identify, technically specify, and deliver new and novel technology capability into the MTC, undertaking innovative Engineering research work focused primarily on technology/manufacturing readiness levels (TRL/MRL) 3+.
  4. Technical Governance: Lead Technical Governance for project deliverables within the area of expertise, ensuring adherence to and championing MTC best practices.
