General Practice Audit Accountant Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Practice Audit Accountant to join our team at Proactive Solutions Group Ltd. As a General Practice Audit Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients' General Practice teams, providing audit and assurance services to help them thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead audit teams on fieldwork and review workpapers and accounts files prepared by staff
  • Review corporation tax returns and computations, as well as VAT returns
  • Draft replies to client questions and provide effective solutions and advice

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or an alternative equivalent qualification
  • Minimum three years' experience of auditing, preparing company accounts and corporation tax returns
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office Word and Excel knowledge
  • Confident verbal and written skills with good attention to detail
  • Outgoing and effective communication style, with ability to work in a busy environment as a team player
  • Excellent organisational skills with ability to work under pressure
  • Commercial awareness and ability to demonstrate business acumen
  • Professionalism and self-motivation

Training and Development:

Successful candidates will receive specific training and opportunities to develop their career. The General Practice Audit Accountant salary for part qualified is 27-35k, qualified is 40-45k, negotiable depending on experience, potentially negotiable further plus benefits.
