Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Post Office Worker to join our team at the Royal Mail Group. As a valued member of our delivery team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our services, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of community, a positive attitude, and excellent communication skills. You will also need to be physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions, as well as having a valid full UK manual driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £51,200 per annum, paid monthly, plus a range of benefits, including:

  • Overtime pay at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate;
  • 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro-rata);
  • An excellent family-friendly support package, with enhanced maternity pay, paternity leave, adoption leave, and shared parental leave;
  • A comprehensive training program, designed to help you develop your skills and progress your career;

Your primary responsibilities as a Post Office Worker will include:

  • Delivering mail and parcels to customers in a timely and efficient manner;
  • Providing excellent customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues;
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, adhering to company policies and procedures;
