Job Title: Learning Support Assistant - Upper Key Stage 2

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our vibrant primary school in Leeds. This full-time role will involve working closely with the class teacher to support Year 6 pupils, particularly in preparation for their KS2 SATs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and preparing students for KS2 SATs
* Work with small groups or one-to-one with students who need additional support
* Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
* Assist with planning and implementing interventions tailored to the needs of the pupils

Requirements:

* Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in Upper Key Stage 2
* Experience supporting pupils with SATs preparation would be advantageous
* A patient, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting learning
