About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled User Experience Architect to join our team at Quilter. As a key member of our Technology department, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our digital products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the UX workstream on large-scale projects, ensuring that user research, data analysis, and design best practices are integrated into our digital solutions.
  • Capture and translate business requirements and user needs into innovative digital experiences that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
  • Plan and conduct user research, including persona development, customer testing, and quantitative/qualitative data analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop user-centered design solutions that balance business objectives with user needs.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our users, including their needs, behaviors, and motivations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design, and apply this knowledge to inform our design decisions.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, and other related UX disciplines.
  • Exceptional understanding of user-centered design processes and the ability to balance customer needs with business goals.
  • Experience in designing a full range of digital interfaces, including responsive web design and native mobile apps.
  • Excellent knowledge of web analytics and digital metrics, and the ability to use them to drive business value.
  • Excellent practical knowledge of relevant design/UX tools, preferably including Figma and Axure.
  • Solid experience of usability testing techniques and software.
  • Experience in applying accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and inclusive design to the UX process.
  • Experience with both waterfall and agile development processes.
