Role Overview

Test Labs is seeking a highly skilled Study Director to lead medical device testing projects in our UKAS ISO 17025 and GLP compliant laboratory.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct medical device testing to ensure compliance with internal SOP and QMS.
  • Develop new test methods to support new claims and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to provide technical expertise to customers.
  • Implement test methods and procedures to identify product failures.
  • Ensure quality compliance standards are met, producing auditable data.
  • Implement project plans, standard operating procedures, and risk assessments.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in GLP testing and study directing.
  • Previous experience in a UKAS testing environment.
  • 3-5 years' experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Hands-on approach to work, with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment, prioritizing and managing workload.
  • Confidentiality when processing sensitive data, with a focus on highest HSE standards.
