About the Role

Job Title: Buying Intern

We are seeking an undergraduate student to join our Strategic Procurement Team as a Buying Intern. This 12-month internship placement offers extensive learning opportunities in procurement, along with valuable exposure to the medical device and healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Procurement team in key activities, working alongside team members to develop your skills and contribute to team goals.
  • Work with the Strategic Procurement Team, Commodity Managers, and Procurement Engineers in various tasks, gaining hands-on experience in procurement practices.
  • Contribute to a digitalization project, helping to enhance productivity and efficiency across the organization.
  • Participate in sustainability initiatives within the Procurement team, learning how to incorporate sustainable practices in procurement.

Requirements:

  • You will be an undergraduate student currently studying towards a bachelor's degree, and looking to complete a 12-month industrial placement or sandwich year as part of your degree.
  • You should be interested in digitalization and sustainability and keen to explore their impact on procurement.
  • You will have good IT skills (proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel minimum) along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
