C&M Travel Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Sales and Account Manager to join our team. As a Sales and Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing existing partnerships and identifying new business opportunities in the airline industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, including tour operators, online travel agencies, travel agencies, consortia, travel management companies, and direct corporate clients.
- New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive distribution of airline products.
- Commercial Negotiations: Negotiate and manage commercial agreements to ensure sales and margin targets are achieved.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to review pricing and commercial opportunities.
- Trade Events: Host trade training events and familiarization trips to promote airline products.
- Industry Engagement: Attend industry events and conferences to meet new and existing partners.
- Budget Management: Manage budgets for trade activity.
Requirements:
- Experience: Must have B2B sales experience gained in the UK working for an airline.
- Skillset: Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Personal Qualities: Self-starter with drive and positivity towards achieving targets. Confident in networking and presenting to groups of people. Flexible to travel and meet trade partners.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: Basic salary in the region of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience.
- Bonus: Up to 10% bonus.
- Flight Concessions: Flight concessions available.
- Pension Scheme: Enhanced pension scheme with up to 8% employer contributions.
- Work Arrangements: Expected to visit the Central London office 1-2 times a week and additional travel to visit clients or attend events.
