We are seeking a Scientific Support Specialist to join our team at Illumina, a global leader in sequencing technology. As a Scientific Support Specialist, you will work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to provide expert technical guidance and support.

About the role

  • You will have a strong background in molecular biology, genetics, or bioinformatics, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be interacting with customers and internal teams on a daily basis.
  • You will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to customers, including troubleshooting issues and developing solutions.
  • You will work closely with the product development team to ensure that our products meet customer needs.

What we offer

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including flexible time off, private medical insurance, and pension scheme.
