About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As a qualified RMN, you will provide high-quality care to individuals who may have suffered trauma and are affected by mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective and compassionate nursing care to service users
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for individuals with complex needs
  • Support and mentor colleagues to promote positive teamwork
  • Record and report service user changes, maintaining accurate records of care provided

Requirements

  • Relevant nursing qualification and NMC registration
  • Strong team-working skills and a flexible approach
  • Positive attitude and natural caring and compassionate nature
  • Commitment to high-quality care and values-based practice

About the Service

Our 42-bed service provides treatment for men and women who may have suffered trauma and are affected by mental health disorders. We use a trauma-informed care model to focus on length of stay and ensure individuals can move as quickly and safely as possible to the most appropriate environment.

Service users may be experiencing acute mental illness, psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorder, dual diagnosis, self-harm, or substance misuse issues.
