Job Title: Transport Manager

We are seeking an experienced Transport Manager to join our team at Swift Recruitment. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for managing a fleet of 60 vehicles and leading a team of planners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the transport function of the business, overseeing the workload of the logistics department.
  • Plan routes and monitor the performance of the driving team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve fleet efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in transport management, preferably with a fleet of 60+ vehicles.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Clean driving license and CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
  • Counterbalance FLT Licence (Plus) is a plus.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.
  • 10% bonus scheme.
