The Peak District National Park Authority is committed to achieving sustainability and driving growth through innovative practices. As a Sustainability and Growth Strategist, you will lead the development and implementation of strategies that promote environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and economic viability.

Your primary objective will be to identify opportunities for improvement and develop targeted initiatives that enhance the Authority's reputation, appeal, and long-term sustainability. With a strong background in sustainability, marketing, and business development, you will be well-equipped to navigate complex systems and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sustainability strategies, aligned with the Authority's overall vision and goals.
  • Collaborate with departments to identify opportunities for improvement and develop targeted interventions.
  • Develop and deliver marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and other resources to enhance the Authority's reputation and appeal.
  • Maintain and enhance existing performance metrics, ensuring timely monitoring and evaluation of sustainability initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sustainability, marketing, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of environmental policy, planning, and management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders.
  • A bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Marketing, or a related field.
