Senior Finance Business Partner

Henderson Scott Limited, a well-established and forward-thinking corporation based in Derby, is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join its team.

This critical role will drive strategic financial initiatives and support key business decisions. The successful candidate will ideally be an ACA qualified accountant able to deliver impactful insights and foster strong partnerships across departments.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner, Financial Analyst, or similar role within a large organisation.
  • Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building strong business relationships.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools, with strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment and manage competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement financial strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Provide comprehensive financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop budgets, monitor financial performance, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead financial modelling and scenario planning to assess potential business outcomes.
  • Influence and challenge business performance and strategy to optimise financial results.

Compensation Package:

  • A competitive salary of £55,000 per annum, depending on experience (+ bonus).
  • A supportive culture that encourages growth, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Hybrid working with 2 days from home and flexible start and finish times.
