About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team at HC-One. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in creating a stimulating and engaging environment for our residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being, and enhancing their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement a range of activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents, including social events, arts and crafts, and exercise programs.
  • Work closely with the Home Manager to organize fundraising events and activities that promote the care home's values and mission.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure a person-centered approach to care.
  • Collaborate with the care team to identify and address the needs of residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that promote the well-being and independence of residents.
Requirements
  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally in a care or social care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Basic IT skills and proficiency in using digital tools to support care planning and delivery.
