Requirements

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will be willing to take on the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in a supportive and collaborative environment. The role will involve working closely with experienced teachers and other support staff to provide high-quality learning experiences for our students.

The ideal candidate will hold GCSE or equivalent Maths & English GCSE/Functional Skills Equivalent (Grade 4/C or Level 2).

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Providing teaching and learning support to students with the guidance of a Classroom Teacher
  • Motivating and supporting students to achieve their full potential
  • Participating in the Walking Bus between school sites on a rota basis
  • Effective communication and teamwork
  • Good ICT skills and organisational abilities
  • Understanding of the educational system and current developments
