Job Title: General Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a General Cover Supervisor in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to pursue a career in education to gain hands-on experience in a school setting.

As a General Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing support to both staff and students in school, ensuring the good behavior of students and engaging them in their learning during short-term teacher absences.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to build strong relationships with staff and students, and demonstrate a commitment to promoting equal opportunities and inclusion.

Previous experience in an educational environment is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students engaged in learning activities to ensure the achievement of learning objectives.
  • Ensure the safe and secure environment of students during lessons.
  • Provide clear instructions for lessons and ensure the achievement of learning outcomes.
  • Participate in training and other learning activities to ensure continuing professional development.
