Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Data Scientist to join our analytics team at carwow. This role is a key part of our drive to enhance key business operations through machine learning solutions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement machine learning models to provide efficient and reliable solutions to business operations needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and create robust models to drive business objectives.
  • Analyze data trends and behaviors to identify opportunities for ML solutions in the broader business.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated track record of building machine learning models in Python that translate data into actionable insights.
  • Relentless curiosity for understanding factors that drive behaviors and trends in data.
  • Solid experience developing ML solutions in cloud environments (e.g., Vertex AI, Sagemaker).
  • Strong communication skills to present insights clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to evaluate model performance with well-motivated statistical tests and success metrics.
  • Fluency with core data handling packages in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scipy) and machine learning modules (Tensorflow or Pytorch, Scikit-Learn).

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on challenging projects and develop your skills as a Senior Data Scientist. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact results.

  • A competitive salary of £100,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
