About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to join our EMEA Public Sector - National Security & Defence team. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for executing the sales go-to-market strategy, identifying new opportunities, building our pipeline, and winning new deals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our VP of EMEA Public Sector, National Security & Defence Market Vertical Lead, and Director of Government Solutions to define and execute the sales strategy and go-to-market plan for the UK Defence Sector.
  • Consistently deliver against sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineers, Marketing, Delivery, Technology Account Partners, Alliances, and other areas to drive sales success.
Requirements
  • A good understanding of the UK Defence Sector issues and ability to advise and solutionize with customers through a consultative sales-based approach.
  • A track record of positioning and selling Enterprise software either directly or as part of an ecosystem.
  • Experience building partnerships across System Integrators, Cloud platform providers, and Consultancy organizations.
  • A good understanding of UK Defence Sector operational and buying processes.
  • Experience nurturing accounts and identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities with existing clients.
  • Ability to integrate into effective sales teams and lead opportunities.
  • Existing relationships within the UK Defence Sector.
  • Expertise working and solution selling within the UK Defence Sector.
  • Strong commercial and entrepreneurial qualities.
  • Ability to support market changes, flagging these early and reacting effectively and positively.
