Job Summary

BACI seeks a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our dynamic team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will work with children aged 0-5 to provide a nurturing environment that fosters intellectual, physical, and emotional growth. 

About the Role

This position involves working in a collaborative environment to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children. You will be responsible for ensuring inclusion for all children at the centre, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing early play-based learning programs and activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of an early years curriculum.
  • Maintaining positive relationships and communication with families.
  • Providing support to children requiring additional support in inclusive settings.

Requirements

Applicants must possess:

  • BC Early Childhood Education and Infant Toddler Certificate.
  • Special Needs Certificate preferred.
  • First Aid, CPR, and TB test clearance.
  • Up-to-date immunizations, including COVID-19 vaccination.
  • Clear BC Criminal Record Check.
