Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team as a teaching assistant in schools across Newbury, Thatcham, and surrounding areas of West Berkshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support teachers in delivering lessons and activities to students of all ages, from 4-year-olds to 17-year-olds.
  • Assist students with learning difficulties and/or physical disabilities, providing individualized support and care.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective support strategies.
Requirements:
  • Proven ability to work effectively with children and adults, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
