Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Physician Assistant to join our faculty at Widener University's Institute for Physician Assistant Education. As a clinical track faculty member, you will play a critical role in teaching and mentoring our students, as well as contributing to the development of our curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in the Physician Assistant Program, including didactic and clinical year courses
  • Develop and implement curriculum, including course syllabi and assessments
  • Provide academic advising and mentorship to students
  • Participate in scholarly activities, including research and publication
  • Contribute to the development of the Institute for Physician Assistant Education's mission and goals
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant
  • Teaching experience in a higher education setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field
  • Pennsylvania state licensure as a Physician Assistant
  • Experience with curriculum development and implementation
