Deputy Team Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Team Manager to join our team at Essex County Council. As a Deputy Team Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the development of practice, skills, and knowledge within the team.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide leadership and support to a team of professionals to deliver a high-quality service with positive outcomes.
- Support the development of individuals within the team.
- Deliver expertise and professional knowledge to provide advice and guidance for complex cases.
- Provide an escalation point for complaints and other feedback from service users.
- Implement effective approaches to integrated working with partners, communities, and the voluntary sector.
About You
We are looking for an individual with significant experience of Social Work or Occupational Therapy practice, a desire to mentor staff, and the ability to manage individual and team performance. You will also need to be able to build strong working relationships and represent the team in a range of meetings.
**Requirements:**
- At least 2 years' experience in a qualified Social Worker or Occupational Therapist role.
- Practice Educator, AMHP, or BIA qualified or working towards these.
- Ability to make clear decisions and highlight potential risks associated with intervention.
