**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated Housing and Community Development Specialist to join our team at EVH. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about improving neighbourhoods and supporting thriving communities.

The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of housing legislation and good practice in Housing Management, as well as experience of working collaboratively with others. They will be well-organised and able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve community engagement goals.
  3. Support the development of neighbourhoods through void & letting management.
  4. Maintain sound knowledge of equality and diversity legislation and its application to a Housing Association.
  5. Understand legal requirements around the management of tenancies.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of working in Housing Management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.
  • Sound knowledge of housing legislation and good practice.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
