About the Role

Meliá White House Hotel is seeking a skilled Reception Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our hotel operations, you will be responsible for supervising the daily shift on Reception, ensuring all staff carry out duties to the required standards and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and organize all staff on the duty shift, ensuring maximum desk coverage and efficient meal breaks.
  • Ensure all special requests for regular guests, VIPs, and groups are actioned with guidance from the Reception Management team.
  • Assist the Reception Management team in implementing new procedures and coordinating training.
  • Monitor the hotel's credit procedure and ensure adherence to guidelines.
  • Maintain close contact with Housekeeping and Concierge to follow through on special requests.
  • Be a role model for the Reception team, demonstrating excellent customer service skills, teamwork, and health and safety compliance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a supervisor in a related industry.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Spanish knowledge preferable.
  • Knowledge of the Opera system.
