Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Data Technician to join our global IT team at CRC Evans. As a key member of our team, you will provide IT support across our user base, working closely with our global team to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide IT support across our user base, working closely with the global team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Build and deploy user workstations, installing applications and utilities, and ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues relating to hardware, software, and connected devices, using logical and systematic approaches.
  • Create and manage 365 user accounts, allocating appropriate licensing and configuring mailboxes, ensuring our users have the tools they need to succeed.
  • Provide local, onsite support and remote support to our global user base, using our CRM system to track and manage service desk tickets.
  • Support the mobile telephony estate, ordering and configuring devices, enrolling devices in MDM, and providing end-user guidance.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues – LAN, WAN, WIFI, and other network-related problems, using our knowledge base to find solutions.
  • Manage service desk tickets efficiently and effectively, adhering to SLAs, and ensuring our users receive timely support.
  • Familiar with and adherence to all CRCE/Site QHSE project-related procedures, ensuring our team operates safely and efficiently.
Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • An Associate's Degree or HND in a related discipline, such as IT or Computer Science.
  • Experience of supporting Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Office suite, Android mobile devices, Apple mobile devices, and basic PC/Notebook hardware support.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use logical and systematic approaches to resolve issues.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with our users.
