About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer to join our team in Burnley, Lancashire. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and upgrading data pipelines using Azure technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, sales, and marketing professionals, to ensure seamless data integration and stakeholder management
  • Develop and maintain data warehouse solutions using Azure SQL Database and Azure Cosmos DB
  • Work closely with IT teams to ensure data security, compliance, and governance
Requirements
  • Proven experience with Azure, SQL, and data warehouse management
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Desirable: experience with CI/CD methods, Python, and Bachelors in STEM subject
Interview Process

The interview process will consist of three stages: introductory conversation, in-person interview, and sign-off conversation. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about data engineering and has a strong understanding of Azure technologies.
