Job Title: Engagement Manager (Stakeholder and External Affairs)

We are seeking a highly skilled Engagement Manager to join our team at Gatwick Airport. As a key member of our External Affairs team, you will be responsible for building and strengthening relationships with external parties and key stakeholders to help develop Gatwick's reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute engagement and communications strategies and plans across Gatwick's external stakeholders.
  • Plan and deliver public consultations, working with 3rd parties and stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of the consultations.
  • Lead/manage Gatwick input to key statutory forums. Manage project specific community consultation and research projects as required.
  • Communicate proactively to generate public interest where appropriate.
  • Drive accurate measurement of impact and benchmarking across all activity.

Requirements:

  • Experience in engaging and communicating with diverse range of external stakeholders at all levels, including influencing skills and resilience in the face of challenge.
  • Experience successfully planning and delivering public consultations, working with 3rd parties and stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of the consultations.
  • A good command of English, and ability to write professional letters, emails, engaging copy and formal reports.
  • Experience and confidence in representing the business externally at meetings and events.
  • Experience and confidence in delivering presentations, tailoring these to the relevant audiences.
  • Experience in successful partnership working.
  • Proven planning and project management experience with organisation and coordination skills and good attention to detail.
