Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiographer to lead our Paediatric Imaging team at London Bridge Hospital. As a Clinical Specialist Radiographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and efficient diagnostic imaging services, rotating through CT, Cath Lab, and IR modalities.
  • Work within radiation protection guidelines, ensuring the correct patient receives the correct x-ray examination with the minimum radiation dose.
  • Have initiative and provide high-level customer care, maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HCA policies and professional codes of conduct.
  • Work as a team player, ensuring cover is provided at all times across all modalities, maximizing clinical efficiency.
  • Participate in an on-call rota and extended working days, as required.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration.
  • Prior experience in CT (Siemens preferable) and Interventional Radiology.
  • The willingness to rotate through General scanning.
  • Experience scanning Paediatric patients desirable, but not essential. We require someone who is keen to learn about Paediatric scanning, as this will be a significant portion of your role.
  • Familiarity with PACS and RIS software systems.
  • Familiarity with undertaking audits.
