The Facilities Department at the University of Worcester provides a range of services, including conferences, reception, catering, accommodation, estates, maintenance, and campus services. As a Student Receptionist, you will be based across the 5 front of house areas, providing a welcoming and professional service to students, potential students, conference delegates, and visitors.
The Reception Team plays a key role in the hospitality team within Facilities and is the first point of contact for various stakeholders. The role will suit a student at the University of Worcester who wishes to develop skills in customer care, event organisation, administration, communication, and team working.
The successful applicant will have experience of operating in a customer care environment, liaising with customers face-to-face or on the phone, and will have clerical and/or administrative skills. You will provide a courteous, professional, and helpful welcome and assist with answering a wide range of enquiries.
Please note that this is a student pool position, and the role is part-time, with a maximum of 20 hours per week. Exact hours and days will be agreed.
