Student Support Assistant

Job Summary:
The University of Worcester is seeking a Student Operational Support Assistant to join our Facilities Department. As a key member of the Reception Team, you will provide exceptional customer service to students, staff, and visitors, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Reception Team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling general inquiries.
- Assist with event organization, coordination, and execution, ensuring seamless delivery of university events and activities.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, staff, and external partners, promoting a positive and inclusive university community.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of customer service strategies, ensuring exceptional standards are maintained across all university services.
- Work collaboratively with the Facilities Department to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services, including maintenance, estates, and campus services.
Requirements:
- Experience in a customer-facing role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the university community.
